Xavier Technical Institute imparts basic technical knowledge to youth who may join the labour force as skilled workers when their training is over. The institute is recognized and approved by the Technical Education Board of Gujarat Government.

Xavier Technical Institute was established and is run by the JESUITS (an international Catholic religious group, pioneers in the field of Education all over the world) of Gujarat Province, whose activities are spread all over Gujarat. The St. Xavier’s collage Ahmedabad, St. Xavier's School Loyola Hall Ahmedabad, St. Xavier's Gandhinagar, Surat, Anand, Rosary School Baroda are some of the institutes run by the JESUITS of Gujarat.

The ever expanding industries in Gujarat need and will continue to need not only highly qualified technicians, but also well trained workers. XTI provides skilled hands to industry enabling it to produce more and better. Besides it gives an opportunity for trainees to enter into the skilled work force, thus helping to solve the problem of unemployment. We do 100% placement for all our trainees.

Throughout the period of training, XTI makes every effort to inculcate in the trainees excellent technical knowledge, skill, the habit of hard work, attitudes of responsibility, discipline, seriousness of purpose and other human values which go into the making of a full integral and mature person. Because of this XTI is a preferred provider of skilled workers to industries in Vadodara, all over Gujarat and beyond. Currently we have over 650 trainees undergoing training in various disciplines.

The Institute is situated in a rural setting. It has a large campus, with well trained staff, planned and equipped workshops, class rooms, and hostel. XTI has spacious playgrounds along with co-curricular and recreation facilities.

The high quality of training given here is proved by the excellent results in the Board Examinations year after year. The industrial concerns, where our ex-trainees are employed readily testify to the quality of our training and the high appreciation in which they are held.
